After a string of leaks and rumors, Google has announced the Nexus S smartphone today. The device runs on a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, which is the same CPU as found on the Galaxy S, and features a contoured display. Along with WiFi, Bluetooth, accelerometer, gyroscope, GPS, proximity sensor, digital compass, light sensor, 512 MB RAM, and 16 GB of internal memory.
